Breakfast and after school care

'The Lookout' Out of School Club works in partnership with Meldreth Primary School to provide high quality childcare service for children and families before and after school. We are a fully inclusive setting registered for children aged 4-11 years at Meldreth Primary School.  We offer a provision for before and after school care. The club is managed by three lovely caring ladies, Miss Dawn Harvey who is also one of our talented Teaching Assistants, Mrs Sue Heaton who is one of our friendly Midday Supervisor Assistant and Mrs Teresa Short who is also our caring assistant cook.

We offer a safe, nurturing environment for all the children from our 4 year olds in Robin class to our 11 year olds in Woodpecker class. Children can participate in a range of adult led and independent activities covering cooking, craft, dance, music, outside play and much more besides.

When I’m at the lookout club I love the fruit and biscuits and most of all I love  dressing up.”

The older children are allowed to cook (under adult supervision.) It makes us feel grown up and responsible.

We love junk modelling and the toasted cheese and ham sandwiches.
