Meldreth Primary School celebrated Harvest Festival with a whole school assembly and some invited guests.The children proudly showed off their singing voices and sang superbly.
Thanks to our parents and carers for all the tins and dried packets of food they donated to make up some wonderful hampers. The hampers were donated to Royston Home Start Charity to support needy families in the area.
People in the UK go hungry every day for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. Home Start provide emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis across the UK. More than 31,576 families are being supported by 11,765 volunteers working in 197 Home-Starts across England.
