Christmas has definitely arrived this week in Meldreth Primary School. Decoration Day signals the approach of the Christmas Market and all the excitement that surrounds our Christmas productions.
All classrooms were busy taking the children on a journey of Christmas flora and fauna for Decoration Day this year. In school we saw colourful robins, perfect poinsettias and gooey polar bears painted with the strangest looking paint you ever did see.
As the day progressed, and there were more signs of glitter across the school in the most unusual places and the metallic pens were beginning to run out. We too ran short of space as colourful Christmas trees, wooden robin tiles, hedgehogs and holly wreathes started to take over the school.
