Meldreth Eco Committee
Our Eco Committee comprises of 8 Eco committee members - 2 volunteers from Kingfisher, Swallow, Chaffinch and Woodpecker. The Eco Learners meet once a month to discuss all things eco-related within the school and the local community as necessary.
Our Eco Learners are easy to spot because they wear their green eco committee badges.
Speak to them if you have any good eco ideas for the school or issues that you would like us to discuss in meetings.
Many of the Eco Learners also take part in the gardening club that runs after school on a Tuesday. Activities include weeding and planting, maintaining the garden and plants around the school.

17.3.17 UPCYCLING COMPETITION
Thank you to all who submitted a wonderful item to our Upcycle Competition. We had so many entries from all ages and it was a very tough job to judge. The Eco Committee met at lunch time today to vote for their favourites.
A EYFS/KS1 and a KS2 will be announced in Monday's assembly.
Thank you again for all your hard work and support.
13.3.17 YOU GROW - THEY GROW
Jay Class are getting ready for our big You Grow - They Grow planting on the 16th March. Remember to have a look at the website below. Children bring in a £1 donation and will sow their own pea or bean plant in their classes. Children will look after their plants in school and then take them home the following week.

Well done to Jay Class who are taking their fruit round to the compost bins.
