Well that was a hot week! We have settled well into our new summer routine as we have a good morning song and self registration before heading out in the cool of the morning shade to play. We have had fun creating the seaside in the tuff tray, exploring different ocean animals in ice and water, making cakes and other creations in the mud kitchen (I am sure you have noticed from the children's muddy faces and legs!). We have also introduced some school uniform to the children in the outdoor play house which they have loved! Other activities have included making jellyfish artwork, by the seaside pictures, sparkly blue play dough and so much more!
Next week we will be complete our 'under the sea' theme and will be trying to stay cool using lots more ice and water play, making cool fruit kebabs and creating more artwork for the display board. We will also have a sensory seaside tuff tray to explore. On Friday we will be having our own little sports day. It will be lovely to see you there so please do let us know if you plan on coming.
