What a wonderful week we have had in Preschool with a bit of sunny, milder weather to enjoy more time outside. We have been enjoying learning more about the story 'We're going on a bear hunt'. The children made some pictures that represent parts of the story including swishy, swashy grass, splishy, sploshy river and swirling, whirling snowstorm. We have also made bear stick puppets and went on an action bear hunt. We also watched Michael Rosen act out and tell the story on our big screen. The Ladybirds did some lovely active games this week using balloons and lots of dancing. The Butterflies have been reviewing colours, learning about how machines work and practicing the days of the week.
Next week, we will be celebrating Valentines day and will make lots of craft including, stain glass hearts for the windows, heart fingerprinting, tree decorations and will be decorating cupcakes.

- Last week is the end of this half term. We close 315pm Friday 10th Feb and re-open on Monday 20th Feb.
- Please provide water only in the children's drinking bottles to support us in promoting healthy living and lifestyle at Preschool.
