The weeks are flying by and we now find ourselves with only one and a half weeks to go! This week we have been enjoying some more summer themed activities including making ice cream sundae collages, made summer headbands, going on a bear hunt, floating the boats on the water and so much more! This week the children have also experienced a little wiggles dance session, teddy bears picnic and a splash day!
Next week we have another fun filled week, continuing with our summer themed activities as well as exploring what camping is like through role play. We also have our Butterflies Graduation on Monday afternoon. If you are a parent of a Butterfly going to school this year, we would love to see you at 2pm where we will have a little ceremony for the children and some special gifts too. We will be having someone coming in to take photo graphs of the group which we will then get printed and hand out to you in the week.
We plan to have a splash day next week and the week after but as the weather has become a little unreliable we will let you know a day or two in advance when this will happen.
Butterflies reports are nearly finished and should be published next week. We will need you to digitally sign these on tapestry when they are released. We also welcome you to add any comments in the 'relative contribution' section.
We are in the process of making plans for September including the addition of our new school house! The work is nearly finished so hope to be able to have a sneak peak soon. We will let you know where your child will be and who their key worker will be as soon as we can.
Reminders and dates:
- Please continue to provide water bottles and sun hats for the children, it does get extremely hot in our garden and the room.
- We have had some children experiencing a nasty sickness bug recently so please be aware of any signs your child may be becoming unwell. If your child does have any vomiting or diarrhoea, they will need to remain at home for 48hrs from the last bout.
