Meldreth Primary School Strategic Plan Overview

Our school’s strategic plan outlines our objectives for the academic year, broken down into termly goals. All staff, in collaboration with the senior leadership team, contribute to achieving both short- and long-term objectives.

School Improvement Priorities 2024-25:

  • Quality of Education: Improve attainment and progress in reading and writing, with a focus on building writing stamina and maintaining quality composition and sentence structure.

  • Behaviour and Attitudes: Develop a strong culture of working together to improve pupil attendance for better outcomes.

  • Personal Development: Support pupils in becoming confident, resilient, independent, and developing strength of character.

  • Leadership & Management: Further develop a broad and rich curriculum from EYFS to KS2, fostering positive attitudes, values, and transferable skills. Explore the potential benefits of federation for 2025-26.

  • Quality of Early Years Provision: Continue to build a curriculum that deepens learning connections and promotes pupil ownership of their learning from EYFS to KS2.
