Year 4 on their travels!

Day 1 - An Exciting Day of Activities Underway!

Following their arrival, lunch, and orientation, the children split into three groups and have successfully completed Jacob’s Ladder, Paddle Boarding, and cycling around the lake!

After dinner, a special blindfold surprise awaits — stay tuned for updates!

Day 2 Journal Entry

Today was full of energy and good vibes. Everyone definitely had huge appetites — there were plenty of second and even third helpings to keep us going throughout the day. It’s clear that all the activities are really working up the children's hunger!

One of the highlights was hearing so many happy voices around. Some of the best quotes from the day really capture the mood:

  • “I love it here.” That says it all.

  • "A lot of us managed to reach the top of Jacob’s Ladder" — a real achievement!

  • “The water is perfectly fine. There are goslings.”

  • "Even though I’m missing my mum, I’m really glad I came." Being here feels special

Right now, there’s a buzz of rehearsals happening as everyone prepares for the talent show — the excitement is contagious. Overall, the staff shares that today felt full of connection, accomplishment, and that warm feeling of being part of something great.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the staff who helped with this trip and to the parents for their continued support in ensuring that the children were well-equipped for their adventurous three days.

A special thank you goes to Mrs Barham and Mrs Willoughby for all their hard work and organisation in the lead-up to the trip—your efforts were truly appreciated by all.
