This year, we are delighted to report a strong response to our survey, with 80 submissions! We greatly appreciate the time you took to share your views and feedback. Your input is invaluable in helping our school continue to improve and provide the best possible experience for our children and families.

We aim to respond to suggestions, particularly when they can positively impact learning and wellbeing. Feedback from our parents, along with some of the actions we have taken in response, are detailed in the documents below.

We value your comments and to respond your suggestions for further improvement please see the actions taken below. We have also given you a snippet of some the valued messages of thanks and appreciation we received as well.

We are very pleased to see a high level of confidence expressed in all aspects of the school. For context, we benchmark our survey results against responses submitted to Ofsted Parent View between 3 September 2024 and 1 September 2025 for primary schools across England. This year, responses have also been compared against this national data to support further improvement.

Feedback from our parents, along with some of the actions we have taken in response, are detailed below...

Parents commented positively on the school’s efforts to keep families well informed. A small number noted that the variety of communication platforms can sometimes feel overwhelming and suggested that, where possible, more advance notice for key updates and events would be appreciated.

"Everything has just been excellent from the beginning."

"Thank you for all you do day in and out - you all go above and beyond and I think each and every staff member is just amazing. The support given to not just my children that attend the school but my family as a whole including myself through the school is both incredible and so very unexpected and I feel so lucky to be part of such a loving and caring school community."

Parents value the support provided for pupils who need it. Some feedback suggested that additional opportunities to stretch pupils who are excelling in certain areas of learning would be welcomed. To support this, the school may look to provide a future workshop to help parents better understand ‘greater depth’ and how pupils are challenged.

"The school and its team are amazing. The care and support given to each and every child as an individual is beyond anything I’ve ever seen within other school settings. All staff go above and beyond in all that they do, not only to cater for the learning needs and requirements of each individual child but also their happiness within the setting. The school is quick in seeking SEN support when needed where Mrs Samways does everything within her power to accommodate each child and provide them with the tools, changes and adjustments required to aid that child into becoming the best version of themselves and reach their fullest potential within the education setting."

"Children are well supported within school, many staff show great empathy towards individuals and the challenges they may face at different points during the school day. We feel the nurturing approach the school takes is a real strength of its provision."
