Level 3 Pre-school Assistant

About Us
Meldreth Preschool is an Ofsted-rated GOOD setting, proudly supporting the learning and development of children aged 2 to 4 years. We’re passionate about nurturing curiosity, encouraging friendships, and preparing little ones for the exciting journey into school life.

Pay: £13.05 p/h

Hours: between 8:30am and 3:30pm Monday to Friday

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • has a child centred approach with a good understanding of child development and the EYFS
  • is able to think of incredible sensory, small world and creative activities
  • can work as a team member
  • is a strong communication and organisational skills
  • is enthusiastic and caring personality

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • An NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (essential)

  • Experience in at least one other early years setting (including work placements)

  • A solid understanding of the EYFS requirements for pre-school aged children

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

  • Strong communication skills—with both your team and our parents/carers
