Our PTA

Our PTA is a voluntary organisation made up of parents and carers.

As a parent at Meldreth Primary you are automatically a member of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). The PTA support the school by raising funds to help make our children’s experience at Links as rich as it can be. The PTA also holds events for parents and children which are great fun and bring us together as a community.

How can you get involved?

There are many ways to get involved. It’s a good way to meet other parents, and to find out what’s going on at school. Come along to a meeting or contact the chair or secretary. All parents are welcome.

We have funded...
Each class is gifted £250 to spend on additional educational resources and subsidise visits. Purchases included books, Lego, STEM toys and games, science equipment, art supplies, and sports medals. This donation also helped with costs for the Kestrel class trip to West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village.

We also funded the new school piano, book bags for Puffin class, the Christmas Widdershins Theatre performance, and covered swimming pool running and maintenance costs.
