Knowledge Organisers (Autumn Term)
Kestrel Class are Play Leaders!
Kestrel Class completed their play leader training and learnt how to plan, organise and run games and activities for the younger children in the school. 
Kestrel Class are Outdoor Adventurers!
Kestrel Class have been developing their cooperation and coordination skills with blindfolds, map reading and puzzles through the teamwork module of OAA. 
Kestrel Class are Astronauts!
Kestrel Class enjoyed a live show in the 'Wonder Dome', a portable planetarium that consolidated our topic on space!
Kestrel Class are Evacuees!
Kestrel Class spent the day roleplaying as WW2 evacuees, exploring the village of Nene Valley and learning in a 1940s school room in Orton Mere!
Kestrel Class are Thespians!
As we come to the end of our beloved class text 'Carrie's War', the children were tasked with predicting the end of the story and displaying their ideas through a drama performance!
Kestrel Class are Gymnasts!
Kestrel Class have been learning all about body composition and how to maintain and create coherent gymnastic sequences, with a focus on performance.
Kestrel Class are Sculptors!
As part of their 'Express Yourself' unit, Kestrel Class studied body language and how it is used to express emotions. They then demonstrated that on wire models.
Kestrel Class Measure the School!
To consolidate our maths topic on measurements, Kestrel Class were given a range of objects to measure, including the school field and playground with a trundle wheel!
Kestrel Class are Musicians!
In preparation for our annual Christmas Concert at the church, Kestrel Class are practising their performance of 'We Three Ships' with a range of different instruments!
