Google Classroom

1st September 2024

Google Classroom is our school's online learning platform for pupils and allows teachers to set homework for pupils and allow pupils to continue their class learning at home. Homework will be set on Google Classroom. In Google Classroom, children will be able to:

  • access their school work from home
  • access home learning assignments
  • interact with their teachers
  • receive meaningful feedback on their work.

In using an online platform for home learning, this will restrict the amount of paper being transferred between home and school.

Each class teacher has sent you a welcome letter explaining what homework will be set and on which days. If you have any questions about this, please speak with your child's class teacher.

Google Classroom will allow your child to access tasks online at any time, as long as there is an active internet connection. The work can be accessed by any device with internet capabilities: mobile phone, tablet, and computer. Google Classroom is available to download as an app from your app store.

You can access Google Classroom here

All children will have the opportunity to log on to Google Classroom in school and login details will be sent to you.

Please find below two attachments which give more support on accessing Google Classroom. Should you have any queries regarding Google Classroom please speak with your child's class teacher, who will be more than happy to help.
