At the end of the school day

ALL children should be collected at the end of the school day.  Younger children stay with their teacher until a known parent or carer has arrived to collect them. Please inform your child’s class teacher if another adult, not known to the school, will be collecting your child

In unexpected circumstances, if you know that you are going to be late, please inform the School Office so that we can hold onto your child safely in school.

Punctuality is very important for your child

Please make sure that your child is on the playground ready for the doors to open at 8.40am. All pupils participate in reading or maths activities from 8.40am til 8.50am. Missing these sessions could cause your child to fall behind their friends and make them more reluctant to come to school, so please help

"Be in the line at twenty to nine"

Parents and children arriving at school after 8.50am should sign into the school office Inventry system for fire safety.

If your child arrives after 8.50am the registers will be closed and this will be counted as an unauthorised absence.

Did you know that missing 20 minutes of school every week adds up to over 11 hours or nearly 3 whole days worth of  lessons over the year?

Can your child afford to miss this much school?

If you are finding it difficult to get your children to school on time there are some things that you might want to consider:
  • attend our breakfast club so you do not need to organise breakfast in the morning? (ask at the Main Reception for details)
  •  meet with Mrs Howard to see if we can help?
  •  read our hints and tips in 'Attendance matters'  below.
