It was anchors away this week as the Year 5 and 6 set sail on swashbuckling pirate adventure. This was the children's first live performance in 3 years!
The Periwinkle siblings, yearning for adventure, are given a real life treasure map by their Uncle. However, when the infamous Redbeard and his pungent Pirates of the Curry Bean steal the map and kidnap their mother, the race is on to rescue her, reclaim the map and find the treasure.
Accompanied by their faithful cat Fiddlesticks, the children join a mad admiral and his crazy crew on a voyage of adventure that takes them from Old London Docks to the mysterious island of Lumbago in the sea of Sciatica.
Scuttle and Slack were first to find the treasure chest but a bigger surprise was awaiting them even better than gold. Chief Wonga turns out to be the sibllings’ long lost father Stanley.
A HUGE thanks to the team including Mrs Haynes our pianist, and the cast for producing another superb show. We are so proud of our talented pupils.
